Broadband Ferrite Limiters.

Abstract

The objective of the program was to develop and demonstrate broadband frequency selective ferrite limiters in the frequency range from 4.4 - 5.0 GHz, from 8 - 10 GHz and from 10-12 GHz. The design goals are to achieve a relatively low threshold power with a low level insertion of 1.0 dB. The device will operate in the subsidiary-resonance mode using a periodic array of dielectric resonators. Prototype devices were built and tested, and the results are discussed. (Author)
