Electrically Small Antennas,

Abstract

Basic types of small antennas are described and figures of merit for small antennas are reviewed. Recent developments are discussed including active antennas, superconducting antennas and methods for analyzing small antennas. One of the analysis methods, the moment method, is used to generate design data for some practical small antennas for use at the tip of a projectile. (Author)
