Computation of the Rectangular Geocentric Coordinates of a Point Based on Distances Measured from Three Reference Points (Vychislenie Pryamougolnykh Geotsentricheskikh Koordinat Punkta po Rasstoyaniyam, Izmerennym ot Trekh Iskhodnykh Punktov),

Abstract

Simple but at the same time accurate formulas are proposed for the solution of a linear space intersection. The advantage of these formulas consists in the fact that they make it possible to compute the coordinates of a certain point for any location of the reference triangle's plane relative to the equatorial plane and the plane of the Greenwich meridian without decreasing the accuracy of the resultant computations. Using computers of the M-220 type a linear space intersection according to the suggested formulas is solved in 2-3 seconds. (Author)
