The Endorsement of Enlistment Incentives.

Abstract

The appeal of 15 enlistment incentives was studied. A national sample of male, civilian youth evaluated the incentives to enlistment as a Regular. The appeal of the incentives was studied as a function of three parameters: the respondent's initial willingness to enlist; his service preference; and the date of survey administration.
