Investigation of the Nature of Magnetic Field Phenomena in the Ionosphere.

Abstract

The construction and testing of portions of sounding rocket payloads and the engineering services furnished for auroral zone magnetic field measurements are summarized. Operation and calibration of the component magnetic observatory and the low field coil facility required for payload design and check out are discussed. Plans for future operations and a statement of contract value are presented. (Author)
