Investigation of Parameters of Underground Electric Antennas,

Abstract

Underground electric antennas are widely used in radio wave geophysical prospecting methods. Research into properties of these antennas was conducted by the Central Scientific research Institute for Geological Exploration and All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Method and Techniques of Exploration. The work was basically concerned with experimental investigations of the problem. A number of practical conclusions were drawn. However an attempt to completely clarify the dependence of electric antenna properties and fields on design and operating conditions was not successful.
