Non-Steady-State Flows in the Channel of an MHD-Generator,

Abstract

The one-dimensional gasdynamic equations for an inviscid conducting gas in an MHD channel are set up for constant B and (Re sub m) much < 1, and solved by a finite-difference method for the transient from steady-state no-load (load parameter K = 1) to k = 0.5.
