Abstract

Data on the migratory variations of the Baltic population of the porpoise Phocoena phocoena (L.) are obtained by catches, sightings and animal markings. Fluctuations in the quantity of porpoises in the Baltic vary according to seasonal temperatures, food supply, commercial catches, ice conditions, and migrations. (Author)
