An Improved Implementation of the Boundary-Integral Technique for Two Dimensional Elasticity Problems,

Abstract

A new implementation of the boundary-integral technique for two-dimensional elasticity problems is developed. The new approach uses linear variation of boundary tractions and displacements over straight line boundary segments. A significant improvement in the numerical accuracy of the boundary-integral technique is demonstrated. (Author)
