Plume Infrared Radiation Characteristics.

Abstract

An existing computer code which uses statistical band models with 25/cm wavenumber intervals was modified. The modified program predicts radiation for H2O, CO2, CO, HCl, HF, and carbon particles in rocket exhaust plumes. In addition an existing program for predicting two-phase flow (uncoupled) and radiation from Al2O3 particles was modified for operation on a CDC 6600 computer. (Modified author abstract)
