Thermoelectric Properties of Arsenopyrites from Certain Tin-Ore Deposits of the Komsomolsk Region,

Abstract

A study of thermoelectrical properties of arsenopyrites from tin-sulfide deposits has shown their thermoelectrical properties and the nature of their conductivity change from the early stages of the ore-formation process to the later stage. Arsenopyrite associated with cassiterite has hole conductivity, while later arsenopyrite has electron conductivity. For arsenopyrites, unlike galenites, Gorbatov's technique for estimating average values does not work, and instead maximum and minimum values of thermoelectromotive force must be compared. (Author)
