Coaxial Main-Line Cables of Type 2.6/9.4.

Abstract

The standard extends to main-line coaxial cables with four coaxial pairs and five service quads which are intended for multichannel communication and television with a multiplexing up to 10 mHz. Working voltage of the coaxial pairs should not exceed 1000 V alternating current with a frequency of 40 Hz in the case of electrical strength of the coaxial pairs on mounted repeater sectors of 3000 V direct current for 2 min. Temporary surges of coaxial pairs up to 1400 V with a duration of no more than 1.2 s are permitted. The working voltage of the service quads should not exceed 250 V with a frequency of 50 Hz or 350 V direct current.
