Study of the Formation Mechanism of Radical IO by the Impulse Photolysis Method,

Abstract

It has been established by the impulse photolysis method with spectroscopic recording for systems C3F7I + O2 and C3F7I + N2O that the basic process for the formation of radical IO occurs with the participation of excited atoms of I(doublet P(1/2)).
