Device for Registration of the Rate of Propagation of a Shock Wave Front,

Abstract

The investion belongs in the area of radio electronics and measuring technology and is intended for measurement of the distribution rate of the critical ionization front in a shock wave during shock tube experiments. A device is known for measurement of shock wave speed, based on digital measurement of the time passed by the constant phase of a SHF standing wave excited in a shock tube channel, a distance equal to half the length of the SHF wave in the channel of the device, which contains a generator, pick up and SHF detector, scaling circuit and registration block.
