Error Bounds for Laminar Boundary Layer Solutions.

Abstract

The research is concerned with determining error bounds for approximate solutions of the Prandtl boundary layer equations. The error bounds are determined by applying the theory of differential inequalities. The approximate solutions are of the weighted-residual type and the boundary layer cases studied include both similar and nonsimilar, two-dimensional laminar, incompressible, steady flows.
