High-Performance Composite Materials for Vehicle Construction: A Finite Element Computer Program for the Elastoplastic Analysis of Crack Propagation in a Unidirectional Composite,

Abstract

This report documents computer programs that are developed as part of a general investigation of the mechanical behavior of high-performance composite materials for use in advanced structural applications. It is sufficiently detailed to permit the use of these computer programs by anyone interested in generating specific numerical results, or in modifying the routines to treat other boundary value problems.
