Further Investigation of an Electronic Angle-Measuring Device.

Abstract

The report presents the results of extended experimentation on an electronic angle-measuring device to determine precision and accuracy. The instrument measures an angle by measuring the time it takes a rotating disk to sweep out the angle. Time is indicated by counting the cycles of a stable oscillator which is gated on and off by the disk at points determined by the angle being measured. (Modified author abstract)
