Classification of Fluidic Power Supplies.

Abstract

The report documents the results of a program to derive a classification system for military fluidic power supplies on the basis of solid and liquid contaminants present in the gas. Both cold gas power supplies and hot gas power supplies were sampled. Sampling procedures were developed to take particulate, gravimetric and humidity samples of each power supply source. Sample results are presented in tabular form listing solid content, particle size spectra, oil content, and water content. A proposed Classification of Military Pneumatic Power Supplies is offered.
