Predictors of Management Success.

Abstract

A ten year follow-up has been completed for 205 men in business. These are MBA graduates of a graduate school of business who when in school took a nine-instrument, manager potential psychological test battery. At five and ten years after school, they completed a questionnaire showing their career progress. Criteria of success were reaching a position in general management, compensation, job satisfaction, perception of job success, and scores on scales of position participation and position concern.
