The Acquisition and Use of Meteorological Data in an Automated Oceanic Air Traffic Control System.

Abstract

The sources from which meteorological data can be acquired and how the data can be used in an automated oceanic air traffic control system are discussed. A proposed data base for meteorological data is defined. Interpolation and extrapolation methods, and a process by which the data base can be updated are described. (Author)
