The NMCSSC Quick-Reacting General War Gaming System (QUICK). Analytical Manual. Volume II. Plan Generation Subsystem. Change 2.

Abstract

This is one of three volumes describing the analytical techniques used in the Quick-Reacting General War Gaming System (QUICK). The volume describes the Plan Generation Subsystem. Initially, the general concept of operation and the functions performed by this subsystem are presented. Subsequently, the detailed analytical concepts and algorithms are discussed. Based upon a suitable data base, and user control parameters, QUICK will generate individual bomber and missile plans suitable for war gaming. The generated plans are of a form suitable for independent review and revision. Subsequently, execution of the planned events can be simulated. Various statistical summaries can be produced to reflect the results of the war game. A variety of force postures and strategies can be accommodated. (Modified author abstract)
