Strip Antennas in or on an Electrically Thin Dielectric Slab.

Abstract

The problem considered is an electrically thin strip antenna in or on an electrically thin dielectric slab. A moment method solution is presented which has the advantage that the number of unknowns is a function of the wire length, and not of the dielectric slab size. Numerical calculations and experimental verification are shown for a strip dipole in the center and on the surface of a dielectric slab. (Author)
