Quick Release Coupling for Standard Helmet Supply Hose.
Abstract
A quick release coupling designed for use on the diver's supply line at the helmet non-return valve is given subjective and strength tests. It is found to be readily manipulated by an assisting diver with bare hands but that difficulty is encountered if deep sea diver's gloves are worn. The coupling system works rapidly and reliably and has adequate strength. (Modified author abstract)
