Abstract

Three addresses are presented on the problem of overcoming world hunger. One of the addresses is devoted to food in the underdeveloped countries (new strains of rice and wheat are discussed), another to the population explosion (which causes food problems), and the final one summarizing the problem including overpopulation, adequacy of the food supply, hunger in all its aspects, and the multilateral approaches suggested.
