Abstract

The purpose was to provide an outstanding group of college students with an opportunity to study and discuss major national issues, and to develop an appreciation for a national community of values through contact with contemporaries drawn from widely representative institutions. The meeting dealt with the functions of the U.S. Secretary of State.
