Recommended Navy Position on the Federal Plan for Climatological Services.
Abstract
The Federal Services Climatological Plan is intended to serve as a vehicle to consolidate the diverse climatological resources of the federal agencies to provide a high quality climatic service support for the minimum cost. The resources to be combined would include data, procedures, personnel, equipment, and facilities. The paper discusses the Navy position on the plan.
