A Technique to Combine the Geometrical Theory of Diffraction and the Moment Method.

Abstract

A technique is developed which can be used to combine the moment method and the Geometrical Theory of Diffraction. Using this approach one should be able to handle a wide variety of new structures which could not have been solved by either technique alone. Many of these new structures occur in the analysis of aircraft antenna patterns and impedance. The approach is developed and verified in terms of simple structures in order to illustrate the approach. (Author)
