Rocketborne Near Infrared Radiometer System. Model NR-1.

Abstract

A nitrogen-cooled rocketborne radiometer design and system test evaluation are given. The instrument uses an indium antimonide photovoltaic detector with a 77K background. The entire optical subsection of the instrument, including detector, filter, chopper, and lens is cooled to near 77K.
