CVA Fog-Dispersal Experiment.
Abstract
Experiments using jet engines for the dispersal of airfield fogs have been conducted since 1951 with varying degrees of success. In this report, the concept of thermal fog-clearing techniques is discussed with respect to aircraft carrier operations, and solutions are proposed to some of the problems. (Author)
