Satellite Observed Mesoscale Cloud Features over Korea.

Abstract

Certain mesoscale cloud features are shown to be closely realted to prominent terrain features over Korea during the summer monsoon. The paper will illustrate the technique and give examples of relating cloud features to the terrain. Within the time period, June through September, 5 cases were selected. (Author)
