Learning with Various Types of Teachers.
Abstract
The number of publications on the subject of learning in pattern recognition has grown steadily over the years. Some learning schemes have been recently reported in the literature indicating misconceptions and terminological confusion. In this paper for the session on Adaptive Pattern Recognition the relevant basic themes of learning are reviewed and related to recent contributions in this area. (Author)
