Some Basic Edge Detection Techniques.
Abstract
The report documents a collection of basic techniques for extracting edges of objects. Included are several varieties of gradient operations; the Laplacian; high-pass spatial frequency filtering; and gray level contouring. Examples of the results obtained using these programs are given. (Author)
