Laser Diagnostics Applied to Metallic-Ion Systems.
Abstract
The report describes experiments involving the interaction of He-Ne (6328), Ruby, and CO2 laser light with lithium exploded wire plasmas. Additional experiments include spectroscopic studies, large area detector studies, dies for lithium extrusion, TEA laser construction, and preliminary holographic interferometry and X-Ray ratio detection systems.
