Propagation of Electromagnetic Waves in a Nonhomogeneous Nonlinear Medium,

Abstract

An investigation was made of waves of the TE-type along a three-dimensional nonhomogeneous layer. It was revealed that under certain conditions separation of waveguide propagation of the TE-field as a function of the electromagnetic field intensity is possible. The conditions for the localization of a strong field in the region of the plasma layer which leads to oscillations of the strong field at infinity were ascertained.
