On the Discrete Component in the Noise Spectrum of Supersonic Annular Jets,

Abstract

In investigations of acoustic radiation from supersonic nozzles the greatest interest is presented by that part of the acoustic energy that relates to the bottom cross section of the central body of the annular jet, since this has an adverse effect on the constructional elements of the rocket apparatus and apparatus close to the bottom cross section. Therefore, this part of the acoustic radiation was studied.
