Effect of Kinetic Chain Reaction Interruption on the Propagation of a Photochemical Wave,

Abstract

Previous works presented a theoretical study of the questions associated with the propagation of photochemical waves in gas media. The investigation was oriented on binary gas mixtures (A2 + B2) having a chain transformation mechanism. Under these circumstances it was assumed that the processes of an interruption in a chain reaction have a slight effect on the properties of a stationary photochemical wave. The purpose of this article is to explain how an interruption in the chain affects the character of wave propagation.
