The Effect of Pressure on the Burning Process of Aluminum Powders,

Abstract

The successful investigation of the mechanism of heterogeneous burning depends a great deal on understanding the role of pressure in this process. The authors studied the burning of aluminum powder in the detonation products of hydrogen-air and acetylene-oxygen mixtures of stoichiometric compositon.
