Investigating the Thermophysical Properties of Heat-Resistant Pyroceramic Coating,

Abstract

Investigations of heat capacity and heat conductivity which were conducted showed that by means of the appropriate heat treatment of glasses it is possible to obtain heat-resistant pyroceramic coatings which possess increased heat conductivity. In this regard, in constrast to heat conductivity the amount of heat capacity is determined by the chemical composition and is virtually independent of the degree of crystallization. The obtained data permit conducting a thermal calculation of various designs which operatre under constant or variable heat conditions with the feeding or release of heat.
