The Riddles of Allergy,

Abstract

At present medicine is experiencing the rapid development of the study of allergy. The attention which is attached to it is not accidental. The increase in disease in the entire world is caused by a number of factors. These are mainly the increasing use of various inoculations and drugs, especially antibiotics (incidentally 30% of all allergic reactions are produced by penicillin). The next reason is the development of the chemical industry, the production of synthetic materials, dyes, and other chemical compounds. The research in this report had the mission not only of studying the regularities of allergic reactions in animals and man, but also of demonstrating the practical significance of this problem for Soviet medicine and the development and implementation of methods of treatment.
