Investigational of Vibrational Spectra of the Antibiotic Griseofulvin and Decarboxygriseofulvic Acid,
Abstract
For interpretation of the structure in the luminescence spectrum, studies were made of the infrared absorption spectrum and the Raman scattering spectrum of griseofulvin and of decarboxygriseofulvic acid. The frequencies found and also the frequencies of Raman scattering spectrum for coumarone are reported and briefly discussed.
