Development of a System for Identification of Bacteria Based on Microcolony Heat Emission and Infrared Radiation.

Abstract

An infrared photomicrographic technique useful in providing differentiation among 10 different closely related bacterial pathogens is described. The theoretical considerations resulting in the construction of an infrared iso-adiabatic calorimeter are presented. (Author)
