Programmer's Manual for the Navy-Modified Logistics Composite Model, L-COM (NAVMOD). Volume II.

Abstract

The Simulator program is the main part of the Logistics Composite Model. The function of this program is to simulate the operation and logistical support of aircraft based upon input data that describes the assumed environment. It accomplishes this function by applying the simulation philosophy of the SIMSCRIPT language; namely, the concepts of entities, attributes and sets, and the notion of chronological occurrence of events with logical processes being applied at each occurrence according to the event type.
