Motivational Development. Part 2.

Abstract

The report contains an analysis of the need for improving the quality of U.S. Army personnel management, human resource development, and leadership in support of the all-volunteer force objective through the research and application of behavioral science. Organization Development (OD), which is an emerging field of management, is discussed within the context of an experimental program for testing the applicability of the OD process and techniques, such as survey feedback, management by objectives, job enrichment, team building, and assessment centers in the field and service schools.
