Abstract
The Army Attitude Survey samples existing attitudes toward career intent, feelings about selected aspects of Army life and their importance to retention, and ongoing effectiveness of people-oriented programs instituted by the DA. Blank answer sheets are provided with a questionnaire for use in gathering installation-specific information for local use and interpretation. The questionnaire will provide data showing changes in attitude over time, and attitude differences as a function of demographic characteristics. The associated Evaluation Plan provides procedures for questionnaire administration, guidelines for data analysis, a recommended format and content for reporting evaluation findings, and recommendations for future evaluations.
