Digital Filtering of Biological Signals. I. Theoretical Aspect and Analogical Application to the EEG (Filtrage Numerique de Tythmes d'Origine Biologique. I. Aspect Theorique et Applications Analogiques a l'EEG),

Abstract

After indicating a number of theoretical limitations in the choice of the response curve for a filter, it is shown how to choose the transfer function in order to select the various rhythms contained in an electroencephalogram (EEG). The various methods of synthesis using active circuits are described and the results are compared with the type of filtering chosen for the EEG. (Author)
