ELF Antenna Flow Test Facility.

Abstract

An alternative to submarine testing of ELF H-field antennas is provided by a land-based test facility to evaluate noise levels associated with shortened versions of various H-field antenna designs. Preliminary investigations, design and fabrication of the facility, the results of cable displacement studies, and future considerations are discussed. (Author)
