Abstract
The purpose of the evaluation is to determine the suitability of the Walter Kidde and Company one-piece manifold as a component of self-contained underwater breathing apparatus. The manifold has the following noteworthy features: ruggedness and variable air reserve. Several recommendations are made to improve the manifold to make it satisfactory for operational use. (Author)
