Evaluation of the Walter Kidde and Company One Piece Manifold for Use with the Scuba Cylinder Assembly with Buoyancy Compensator,

Abstract

The purpose of the evaluation is to determine the suitability of the Walter Kidde and Company one-piece manifold as a component of self-contained underwater breathing apparatus. The manifold has the following noteworthy features: ruggedness and variable air reserve. Several recommendations are made to improve the manifold to make it satisfactory for operational use.
