Lawrence and Mao Together

Abstract

T. E. Lawrence and Mao Tse-Tung were successful leaders of guerrilla movements. The strategic objectives and principles of each are analyzed and discussed and the differences and similarities compared. The analysis of their strategies reveals several common principles which can be used to develop guerrilla strategy for other areas of the world at present and in the future.
