The Effects of Herbicides in South Vietnam. Part B. Working Papers: Estimating the Highlander Population Affected by Herbicides

Abstract

The report sets forth some of the basic problems associated with a determination of the number of Highlanders likely to have been affected by the use of herbicides in South Vietnam (SVN). A general belief exists that proportionately more Highlanders were affected by herbicides than were ethnic Vietnamese. This discussion is presented with the hope that it can provide some background material useful for a more detailed investigation.
