Abstract
The purpose of the report is to document the possible changes that may occur to soil through defoliation of the vegetation growing on the soil, and to evaluate the relative seriousness of these changes. The data presented are the results of three field visits made to various areas in South Vietnam by soil investigators for the purpose of observing firsthand the effects of defoliation on soils.
